Professional Experience
Bruno Kurtic has dedicated his career to building and growing technology companies. Currently, he is actively engaged in founding his next venture while serving as an Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) at Sutter Hill Ventures. Notably, Bruno co-founded Sumo Logic, where he held the position of Head of Product for a decade, overseeing its growth leading up to its IPO, and subsequently served as Chief Strategy Officer post-IPO. Prior to Sumo Logic, Bruno served as the Head of Product at Sensage, a SIEM and log management company. Earlier in his career, he honed his expertise at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he specialized in developing strategies for large high-tech clients. Preceding his time at BCG, Bruno helped build webMethods into an industry leader as an early employee, software architect, and director of product development. Early in his career he served at various technology companies such as Accenture, TSI, and ran his own custom software services company. He earned his undergraduate degree in Quantitative Methods and Computer Science from the University of Saint Thomas, followed by an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
